Christmas with the Andersons

Much fun was had. We had 4 fun filled days packed with eating, gift, eating, games, eating, playing with cousins, eating and snow.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful evening celebrating Christmas Eve as a family. After church we watched home movies, ate dinner, lite our final advent candle and then opened gifts. The boys were thrilled with their new Rollerblades. Quote from Lucas "Sweet mom....thanks!

The new Christmas tradition.....

The boys had been begging dad to make a gingerbread house. So, one Saturday morning dad and the boys drew their plan out on paper and went to town constructing THE gingerbread house. That same Saturday we had a wonderful winter storm here but that did not stop us from going to Target, Rainbow Food and finally Walgreens to find out nobody had gumdrops for our house. So, armed with dots, goobers and sour patch kids we headed home to decorate. The boys are looking forward to this new tradition continuing on.

Jack's 2nd and 3rd party

Jack goes to a little tot program at Excelsior Covenant Preschool on Fridays. The teachers were kind enough to take a couple pictures of the birthday boy.

The 3rd and final party was at Jack's house this past weekend. More fun was had, cake was eaten and of course gifts were opened.

The weekend ended with decorating the Christmas tree.

Thanksgiving / 1st Party for Jack

Thanksgiving was a fun weekend spend at the farm in ND. The weekend was long for Jack as he was sick the entire weekend; however, he was able to rally enough to open gifts and blow out candles. We had a combined party with cousin Solomon and Liam. It was lots of fun.

The favorite gift was the guitar that was played by all!

Happy 1st Birthay Solomon

Mom, Lucas and Jack packed up again this weekend and drove another short 4.5 hours to Casselton to help Solomon celebrate his 1st Birthday. A lot of fun was has even though it was too short of a trip.

Yes, we did determine that a bare bottom standing outside in the cold ND wind was too much for a little guy just potty trained. He preferred the potty seat in the back seat.

Jack showing a lil' 'tude!

Solly is a good sport and puts up with Jack's lovin.
Yes, I have some candy and NO, you can't have any!
