Big Talker Strikes Again

Jack was very confident and excited to see Santa this year. On the way to see him he told me that he was going to sit on Santa's lap and kiss him. He was a big talker. By the time we got our coats off and in line to see Santa he was doing the death grip around my neck. So...another year of mom in the picture with the boys and Santa.

Now, we are on our way to swimming lessons and Jack is very excited to be a big boy and be able to swim in the big pool. He tells me all the way to lessons that he knows how to swim and does not need a teacher. We get to the pool and sit in our chair waiting. The closer we get to the start of class the less confident Jack gets. By the time Mr. Matt introduces himself Jack is doing the death grip around my neck again and crying. He would not even sit by the pool and put his feet in the water. Thanks to a wonderful Mr. Matt, by the end of the 1/2 hour Jack was actually in the pool floating and kicking.

Christmas with the Hulsts
